How it works · simulator

Your day, TedEnergy against a standard HEMS.

The simulator replays a real day second by second: on the right what TedEnergy actually did, on the left what a standard HEMS would have done with the same home, the same sun and the same batteries. Pick the show home, or drop your own installation's logs.

How it works

1

Choose the source

The show home (the designer's own installation, with three days to choose from) or your own files.

2

Check the batteries

The simulator estimates each battery's capacity from the day; correct it if you know it.

3

Run the simulation

The day replays in a few minutes, with a live summary: starts, stops, energy bought, cost.

Where to find your files

In TedEnergy: Notifications and log › Inverter log (Diagnostics › Logs before version 3.7.10), download for the same day the measurement history (YYYY-MM-DD.jsonl) and the inverter log (onduleurs.YYYYMMDD.txt, TedEnergy 3.7.2 or later). The configuration is optional.

What about your data?

Your files are read by your browser: nothing is sent over the Internet. For the show home, the site's server reads the measurements of the designer's installation, without entity names or addresses.

Frequently asked questions

Is the result guaranteed for my installation?

No: it is a single day, and every installation is different. Seasons, weather and your habits change the result. Also compare the “Energy in reserve” line: a day that ends with more energy in the batteries has prepared the next one.

What is simulated on the standard HEMS side?

A simple split: all available inverters in equal shares in the direction of the meter. It is basic control used for comparison, not a particular product.

Why offer several days?

A very cloudy day, or one with no consumption, shows little: you can take yesterday, the day before or three days ago.
